Helen Pentelow-Boyle

I am a UKCP-accredited Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. Over the past seven years, I have worked with children, young people, and families across a variety of settings, including public sector services and charitable organisations. These experiences have allowed me to develop a broad range of skills to support children and adolescents at different stages of development and with diverse emotional and psychological needs.

Skills and training

My core clinical training was with the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy.

My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational, and integrative approach. I am particularly skilled in working with children and families who have experienced developmental trauma, , emotional regulation difficulties, those struggling with anxiety and neurodivergent young people and their families as they learn how to navigate a world that doesn’t always accommodate them.

I bring a playful and creative energy to my work, and I value the process of slowly building trusting, therapeutic relationships. I see therapy as a shared journey—an adventure in which we explore together the child or young person’s thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and emerging sense of self.

With a genuine love for learning and a strong desire to make a meaningful difference to the wellbeing of future generations, I feel passionately about creating safe, empowering spaces for children and adolescents to heal and grow.
