About Hannah
I am a clinical psychologist who works across the lifespan, from pregnancy and infancy through to childhood and adulthood. I have years of specialist experience in the areas of trauma and attachment, parent-infant relationships and infant emotional wellbeing, and child development, having worked in a clinical and leadership capacity for the NHS and also in the areas of trauma and adoption. I love to work creatively and in a body-based way, integrating a number of different therapeutic modalities in order to best tailor therapy to suit the needs of the children and adults I work with. I am an EMDR therapist for children and adults, often integrating this wonderful approach with Internal Family Systems to provide therapy that is trauma-informed and effective, while also gentle. I place great value on authenticity in the way I relate to individuals and families, believing that relational connection and safety are essential for the healing therapeutic journey. I am genuine, playful, creative, and passionate about trauma-informed care.
Skills and Training
I completed my clinical psychology doctorate with the University of Sheffield in 2013, qualifying with experience across the lifespan and training across multiple therapeutic modalities. I have completed additional further training in a range of trauma and attachment therapies including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Circle of Security (a parenting approach focusing on understanding the emotional needs of children), and Theraplay. I bring a systemic lens to my work, viewing the presenting problem in the context of the wider relational system and context.
